So it has been brought to my attention tonight that some people still don't know about the 100 No's!
It is a list of 100 people to tell you NO! The only difference between a Super Star Director and you is she has had more No's! You make a list of 100 names...ask them to host a party or to buy! :)
I use this for fundraisers as well!
I hope this helps you guys! If you have more questions please comment and I will answer!

Flower Pens! :)
I have a best friend Mer Nix who inspired me to make these. She works in an insurance office and was saying she wanted something to make her smile. So I got a vase and those "water beads" you can get both of these at Walmart in the fake flower section. they cost me $3.97 and then I got pens from walmart in the clearance section they were 12 for .70 so I got 6 packages. Each pen cost me .04!!!!!!
Then made flowers just like I did for the magnets! (See pictures below! These are pretty sel explanatory because of the step by step with the magnets.
When you do this project you will also need the green tape that you can get in the fake flower section as well. If you need better instructions let me know via email laurenlosideas@gmail.com
Also, remember to send pictures if you do this craft! :)
Brought to my attention that instead of the pink & purple water beads I used you can use COFFEE beans which can be doubled for them to smell your testers and such! :)

Don't have a car? Need sales?
I have a few people on my team who don't always have access to a car but still need a way to reach new customers other than facebook, telephone, usps, and etc. So with them in mind I came up with another idea and it was while I was driving go figure.!
You make a Neighbor Sack. This Neighbor Sack will have a letter from you, a few samples, two catalogs, two business cards, a flower magnent, a pen, and a FREE gift (the scent circle)!
You will make this sack look like it is a present then go door to door in your neighborhood or any neighborhood within walking distance and deliver these! This is something that you can do for less than $10 and you will get a lot of customers! I did this when I first started selling. Neighbors know that when they come over to get something majority of the time I either have it or can have it to them in a few days!
I hope this helps some people.
thanks,
lauren lo

Impressing your customer #1
How many of you take the time to send your customers a thank you card or email?
How many of you take the time to send your customers a tracking number once it's posted?
Well, I do and guess what it is been noticed. I have customers who thank me for that. I am doing a few fundraisers right now and I have received a few NEW customers for just being knowledgable of my product and staying in contact with them.
Every day I check my workstation what seems like a million times per day!!! I always watch for the "shipped" and I send them an email! However I don't get along with the email system in our workstation so I always just copy and paste it into my regular email.
Below is what I usually send as my "Thank you email"
**********************************************************************************
Hi Kellie,
I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your business! I know that you already got an automated email about your order but I wanted to send you a personal thank you from my heart. I hope you got everything you wanted! I will be sending you another email once the item has been shipped. If you ever want to host a party to earn half price and FREE items please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you again for your order!

$1 mini tester carry along!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found this via another Scentsy consultant and got permission to share her idea with my followers.
You can buy these at the Dollar Tree. It will hold 12 mini testers. I suggest color coding or marking several of them and divide the testers by their "page" or "catagory" in the catalog. :)

Want to reach 300 NEW customers each month?
Now, I know you are all thinking HECK YA! Well here is a tested and tried and true way to reach 300 new customers each month, okay okay with Feb as an exception! You have to promise yourself right now before you continue reading that you will try it for ONE month and keep track without rolling your eyes or saying "No" :)
What you will need to get started:
- 350 catalogs
- Stamp or Address Labels
- Samples (see my THOUSAND samples in one brick.)
- Legs
- Arms
- Smile
- and maybe a vehicle.....
If disability witholds you from doing this use the USPS. However you must staple the sample on the inside of the catalog and bind the open edges with a sticker! I suggest a recruit sticker! :)
If you will actually do this everyday you WILL reach 300 NEW customers every month!
If you do it every month of one year......by Golly you will have reached 3650 NEW customers every year!
Let me break it down some more. If 25% of the people you handed a catalog to order $5 you increase your sales by $4562.50 each year! :)
Now, how many of you are going to ACTUALLY do this????
As always be sure to come back and let me know if you try it and how you do!
thanks,
lauren lo

It was brought to my attention that some can or won't by 350 catalogs each month. I bought them at spring sprint so I got them cheap. However, if you want a cheaper way use the OTM (of the month) Flyers! Just make sure you pass out at least ten. Although, those are a LOT cheaper you could pass out more a day!
Also, you can go to the mall and put one on every windshield on a Saturday, the first saturday of the month is always the busiest! :)

Impressing your customer #2
When I make my deliveries I think that as a Customer would want to feel like they are opening a PRESENT! So, I take the clear plastic bags that come in your shipments or can be ordered in the success area and I put the items in the bag. I have curling ribbon that I tie around the top making it look like a package. Then I take on strand of the curling ribbon and put a TAG on it. I make my own tags out of construction paper (see below for instructions.) I also put a business card right behind the tag. Oh, and then I curl the curling ribbon and get ready to deliver.
TAGS:
I take a piece of construction paper and fold it in half vertically. I then cut it into four pieces. I have a hole punch that is the shape of a star. I cut a star out of the corner. Then I right on the front "Thank you for your order" or put a sticker there. Then on the inside I write Mrs. or Mr. Customers name.
I usually try to Holiday theme my tags and ribbon but some months don't have a Holiday and I just go with my heart!
This has improved my return customer ratio.
As, always please tell me how you deliver and if you try this come back and let me know your success stories.
thanks,
lauren lo

Be a good tipper! ;)
Okay so when we go to eat I know that on average we leave a $3-$5 tip. I decided to order some great scent circles using my FREE hostess rewards and use them as my tip. I put my sticker on all of my scent circles and now we leave those instead of a tip. Now, when John David is with me he usually sneeks a $ or $$ on the receipt! I also attach a short note on an index card that says! I am an Independent Consultant and I want you to put this in your vehicle or wherever you may and try it for 3 days! After those three days I would like you to take the time to message me rather by text, email, or facebook to tell me what you think about the product, the scent, etc. I do NOT require you to purchase from me but if you do send the message that I am asking you to send include where you got my Scent Circle and I might just bring your favorite scent next time I come! However, if you do not have a Consultant I would love to be yours. If you need help ordering please don't hesitate to contact me! Have a GREAT day!
This has got me a ton of NEW customers! Some of them have even returned again!
Now, just like always if you choose to "BE A GOOD TIPPER ;)" please come back and tell me your success stories!
thanks,
lauren lo

Potty Game!
If you are finding yourself in a stand still without customers play the Potty Game. I came up with this after reading some other consultants posts and suggestions. You will need a few items to play.
Items you will need:
- Mini catalogs
- recruits $99 stickers
- sharpie
- mini ziplok bag
- larger ziplok bag
This is how you prepare for the Potty Game.
First step is to write on each mini catalog. If you are organized and on top of things like I am most of the time you just use address labels. Make sure that the address lable includes the following before putting it on the mini catalog. (You put the sticker in the little blue area.)
- Your Name
- Your Website
- Your Phone Number
- You have WON, contact me ASAP!
Third step is to put those stickers into the mini ziploc bag.
Fourth step is to put the mini catalogs and the mini ziploc bag into a larger ziploc bag.
Fifth step is to put the larger ziploc bag into your purse, mine is a KATIE CROSS BODY!
Sixth step is to go to the bathroom everywhere you go! Okay maybe not everywhere you go but when you go, SCENTSITIZE and play the potty game!
Seventh step is a little awkward but I will try to keep it polite. While you are attending to your business reach into your purse pull out your large ziplok bag.
Eighth step is to take one mini catalog and one recruit sticker out. Place majority of the sticker on the mini catalog at the top and with the little bit of sticky part that is left post it somewhere in the stall. I literally do NOT use but maybe a sliver of sticky part to attach it to a place on the stall, I am not trying to be a "bathroom stall de facer" so I use as little sticky as possible.
Ninth step is to wait.
Tenth step is once the customer contacts you about winning, you decide what your prize shall be to them. I opt between free shipping, free "something in my stock", etc.
Eleventh step is to come back to this blog and tell us all about your new customer you got playing the POTTY GAME!!! Note: you might be jumping with joy as you are hurrying over to tell us about it.
Now, I like to hear success stories so please come back and tell me about them!
thanks,
lauren lo
SCENTSATIONAL FLOWER MAGNETS!
I am starting this blog because I sell Scentsy and I needed crafts that didn't hurt my pocketbook but made it grow instead! So here is a step by step on how to make a magnetic flower for a cheap price!
If it is too complicated please comment and let me know that so I can simplify my wording! Enjoy :)
What you will need:
Also, you will need a hot glue gun that I didn't
get in the picture.
The flowers are cheap dollar tree flowers. I sometimes will splurge and get the really really bright colored daisies from Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon! The pebbles are also from Dollar Tree and you need to make sure that you get the wide fat ones (I will post a better picture when it comes to them). Glue that will dry clear. Scissors might be needed. The magnets are from Walmart, some of them can be found at Dollar Tree but the one I wen to didn't so I just grabbed them when I was grocery shopping later that day. Again, don't forget a hot glue gun and sticks.
You can use a template that I will attach as soon as I get it in my email box. I am in a hurry with this batch and the color ink cartridge decided to go capute so I used regular black in and regular paper.
I typed my name and telephone in size 10 comic sans font. I then cut them by hand (more time consuming but I am pretty fast so it works really well!) I also feel that it makes them look "for sure home made" if you know what I mean! :)
So the first step is to put the pebble and paper together. Whether you cut it out like I did for this one, use a template, and etc. You take the paper and put a glue that will dry clear over it. You then put it on the FLAT surface of the pebble. This is the first step so that it can dry while you are working on step two. Also, if you do it the way I did on this one and don't want the space between the white to show, cut a circle of color construction paper and slap it behind there. (see pictures below)
Step two & three is to take the flower and "de face" them. What I mean by de face them is: take the center of the flower and the (normally green) backing off the flowers. I like to have COLOR in my flowers so I usually alternate each layer (I do three layers, you can do four if you like even #'s). As you will see in the pictures below here I alternated a pink, white, pink.
You will then put hot glue on the first pink flower. You apply the hot glue in the center, I will advise you to just put a dot in the middle just bigger than the hole that is in the middle of the flower. You then take the white flower and press its center into the glue of the pink flower. Repeat with the next Pink LAYER (ha like our new LAYERS). Repeat once more if you are using four layers rather than three like me. (See pictures below)
Step four is to take the pebble and apply it to the center of the flower. You put hot glue in the center of the top layer. Then put the pebble on top of that. Press tight for a few seconds. (See pictures below.)
Oh! and don't forget to REPEAT!
Thanks for following my silly craft blog. Please comment and let me know how yours turn out! Also, if you make any flowers please snap a picture and send it to laurenlosideas@gmail.com
Thanks,
lauren lo
I have had several bad reviews for the pictures because people do NOT read that I posted "COLOR INK CARTRIDGE was out....so here are the ones I made tonight after replacing the cartridge
.
Also, While making my latest batch I realized that using modge podge and a brush was much easier than stick glue.
You just brush across the back side of the pebble once, attach paper and it's done. I made 75 tonight. :)

Step six is to put on your fridge or do as I do and put one in every order that you deliver. When you deliver to the hostess say I also put in a FREE flower magnent just to let you know I appreciate your business and so that you can always have my number without looking further than your icebox. :)
